The only plausible reason for felling a tree is to produce books. And book, you know, is the most wonderful thing there is, the most beautiful word in our language. There was no other. In 2017, the heart spoke louder and MMarte decided to take on its old passion for the publishing world. Independent, of course.

Since then, we've launched books called and artist publications. The menu, so far, includes comic books, literature, poetry, film theory, animation, more or less experimental zines. And this is just the beginning. MMarte's catalog is being built from a single criterion: publications that instigate and bewilder us.

Independence is the law around here. Since its emergence as a publisher, MMarte has participated in several of the main fairs in the country. An eye-to-eye with readers, authors and publishers who live this same utopia. That's why in our virtual store you'll find not only MMarte titles, but also of partners for whom we put our hands in the fire. You can go without fear.

What about the physical stores where our books are sold? Well, they're just the coolest in the country. The ones that matter. The ones who treat books like books, not sausages. People who love what they do and respect every link in the long chain involved in producing a book. So, for the big networks, bananas.
